High Self

Much has been discussed regarding our divine nature and our connection to GOD or SPIRIT. Below we aim to help clarify some of the very common terms that people still get confused about. These are High Self, Higher Self, spirit, Spirit and SPIRIT.

High Self

High Self or High Self Committee, is a group of higher beings assigned to us and is responsible to assist us in our journey from life to life. Many times and without our knowledge, we make reference to this committee by saying phrases like: «And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.» ~Paulo Coelho, «The alchemist»

And even though these committee members can change from time to time as they complete their journey with us, the plan they follow is strictly according to what we set out to do, when we decided to incarnate in this life.

Whenever there’s a shift in that committee, that change can be felt in our lives, usually as a «feeling» of being out-of-sorts or that something is amiss. The intensity of this feeling varies from person to person and has much to do with our tolerance of the unknown and fear issues that are lurking within us.

One of the many reasons why GrecoDow® is such a high-vibrational healing method is because this committee is routinely cleared as part of the preparation process of any session. This ensures that there are no inner conflicts in our choices and healing process. All clearings and healings are performed by the High Self Committee. The healer’s responsibility is to properly connect with all relevant High Self Committees and request and verify that the clearing and healing session has taken place in the most effective, efficient and beneficial way.

Higher Self

This is the much-discussed «divine essence» of our being, the one we truly are, that is connected with God (SPIRIT) and represents our greatest potential, our ideal, fully realized, divine self.

SPIRIT, Spirit or spirit

  • SPIRIT with all letters capitalized is the equivalent of GOD, the eternal, omnipotent, conscious and intelligent creator of all beings.
  • Spirit or psyche, as described by ancient Greeks, is the very spiritual representation of us and the embodiment of our spiritual nature. It’s what leaves your body when we die.
  • The word spirit, however, refers to the essence of things much like the way we would say, «in the spirit of things» while referring to the non-physical aspects of a being, idea or situation.
